Posted by Thi Pham

S5 Agency World has once again been nominated by Deutsche ReGas to support their regasification project, this time for the Mukran LNG terminal in Germany. We previously collaborated with Deutsche ReGas on their Lubmin LNG terminal project in 2022, as covered in our past article:

S5 Agency World signs deal with Deutsche ReGas to manage shuttle tankers at Lubmin LNG terminal

We are honoured to expand our partnership with Deutsche ReGas at the Port of Mukran. This terminal is projected to supply up to 13.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually into Germany’s pipeline network.

The first floating storage and regasification unit arrived at the Port of Mukran on February 24th carrying LNG from Norway. This marks the start of testing all land and ship systems to put them into full operation. A second regasification vessel, the Neptune, will also join the Mukran terminal this summer after departing from Lubmin. (Source: Deutsche ReGas press release

Once fully running, the Mukran energy terminal will be able to feed a total of 13.5 bcm of natural gas into Germany’s long-distance gas pipelines. This will contribute greatly to the energy security of Germany and other Eastern European countries. (Source: Offshore Enegery)
